Web accessibility

The goal of web accessibility is to reduce or eliminate digital barriers.

We would like everyone to have access to the information offered by a website. Whoever the user is and whatever their status, with or without disabilities or special needs, navigating a website should be a pleasant and satisfying experience, free from limitations.

The permanent work group, Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), establishes three levels of web accessibility:

Level A

Basic requirements

Level AA

Includes solutions to eliminate communication barriers

Level AAA

Guarantees universal accessibility

MultiSignes can advise and guide you through the elimination of the accessibility barriers of your website, so everyone can access your information. From technical recommendations for design, colour contrasts, structure, typography or body of the text, to the elaboration and adaptation of content, we are there for you. There are so many factors to be considered, such as the audio description of images on your website, or the subtitling and audio description of audiovisual elements, as well as interpretation in sign language. It is also important that the electronic PDF documents of your web page are accessible. They must be labelled and structured in a correct reading order, with alternatives for any non-text element.  All these things are just a small example of the aspects to be considered for web accessibility.
