Sky Film Festival

In 2016, MultiSignes premiered in the organization of festivals with the Sky Film Festival, a festival of audiovisual arts (film, television and advertising), focused on the theme of sky, air and flight.

The Sky Film Festival was held from 24th – 26th June in different areas of Castelló d’Empúries and Empuriabrava, a world reference centre for leisure activities and sports related to air and sky. Both the facilities of Skydive Empuriabrava and those of the Windoor Real Fly Wind Tunnel were just some of the settings used for the festival. Activities were also carried out in the Convent of Santa Clara de Castelló d’Empúries, and on the beach of Empuriabrava.

The journalist and writer Martí Gironell was in charge of presenting the festival. The event featured interesting presentations by professionals, such as the meteorologist Tomàs Molina and the biologist Jordi Sargatal, also counting upon the collaboration of Santi Corella, a benchmark in the world of skydiving. Demonstrations of air sports, children's workshops, family activities and a trade fair were also added to the presentations and projections.

The Sky Film Festival became an international meeting point for specialists and those curious about this subject.
